The International AIDS Candlelight Memorial, held on the third Sunday of May every year, is a time for all of us to remember the many lives lost to AIDS. It is an opportunity to honour those who dedicated their lives to helping people living with and affected by HIV and continue to mobilise our communities in solidarity.
The 2025 International AIDS Candlelight Memorial is happening on Sunday, 18th May, under the theme: “We Remember. We Rise. We Lead.” A three-part theme linking memory, resilience, and leadership,

On this International AIDS Candlelight Memorial, light a virtual candle in memory of a loved one, a friend, a colleague, or a pioneer in the fight against HIV/AIDS.
